Whisk together olive oil and balsamic.
Marinate asparagus in mixture in a shallow pan for about 20 minutes.
Heat grill (pan) on medium heat.
Place asparagus on grill.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. This can also be done while it’s marinating.
Grill until tender. About 10 minutes, more or less.
Drizzle with half of the remaining oil mixture and a 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice.
