You can fry these, but I bake mine for a healthy snack.
These taste virtually the same as fried, especially with pico de gallo all over them, and they’re less expensive.
Serving – 24 chips
4 corn tortillas – $0.12*
Cooking spray, 4-5 1 second sprays – $.10
Salt – $0.01
Total for recipe – $0.23 per serving

Preheat oven to 400F.
Stack 4 tortillas on top of each other.
Cut in 6 wedges.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Arrange tortillas in a single layer.
Spray tops with cooking spray.
Salt liberally. Seriously, don’t be shy. You’ll be sorry later.
Bake for 7 minutes on one side.
Spray and salt again.
Bake another 7 -8 minutes.Can be done 2 batches at a time, and saved in tupperware or plastic bags.These are crunchy and salty, and full of corn goodness, but they are baked, so you will need some additional flavor in the form of Pico de Gallo.
If you’re frying, just lay wedges carefully in oil heated to 325F with slotted spoon.
Fry until they’re the color you want.
Salt while hot.
