Morning Snack

 

Apple

I like snacking on apples because they’re relatively cheap, quick, light, and moderately filling. I find the tartness of the granny smith refreshing, but if you don’t, at Trader Joe’s you can often find pink ladies on the cheap. They’re sweet and tart. Yes, we’re still talking about apples.

Afternoon Snack

Matchstick Carrots tossed with Creamy Caesar Dressing

Serving – 1 carrot

1 carrot, peeled – $0.08
1 tsp Creamy Caesar Dressing – $.07

Total for recipe – $0.15 per serving
Calories: 58 Fat: 3 Protein: 1.7  

Chop carrot into matchsticks.
Toss with 1 teaspoon Creamy Caesar dressing.
Tangy and crunchy.
